M.E.A. Soap Company was founded and developed by Mechele Nieman. It started as a hobby. I am a mother of two children. Both of them have severe skin sensitivities. I myself have skin sensitivities and am sensitive to most artificial fragrances. I tried a massive variety of soaps for my kids and none of them seemed to work for us. I became determined to find something that would work. After trying so many different ones, I started to research the ingredients in soaps that were on the market. What I discovered was there are a lot of similar artificial ingredients in many popular soap brands. I decided to try making my own products instead. I focused on tried-and-true methods of soap making and researched the different oils that went into making the soap. I spent countless hours researching essential oils and what their traditional uses were. The goal was to create a healthy soap, free from artificial ingredients and fragrances. I created products that worked well for us and decided to share them with others. This is how M.E.A. Soap Company was born. Most of our products are plant based with a few exceptions. We use high quality ingredients and combine them in ways that we have found to be beneficial for us. We want to share the same healthy, clean, and wonderful products with you. We strive to create the cleanest skincare products with as natural ingredients as possible.
